Start with one useful automation
Automation works best when its purpose is easy to explain. A small, repeated task gives a team a practical way to learn before connecting a larger process.
Choose a clear boundary
Select an input, a useful output and a person who can review it. Preparing a draft from a completed brief is easier to evaluate than asking a system to manage every client conversation. Define what should happen if the input is missing or incomplete.
Test the exceptions
Try a duplicate request, an empty field and a connection failure. Check that the process does not send the same message twice or silently lose information. Keep a manual route available while the workflow is being established.
Expand from evidence
Review actual examples with the people using the result. If the first step is useful and reliable, connect the next handover. If it creates extra checking, improve the input or simplify the scope.
DREAM BIT treats automation as a practical project: agree on the job, build a small useful flow and refine it through review.
